The nature, depth, & extent of Alexa's talent(s) remains to be seen. Edie & Chloe also had more mystery, a deeper kind of allure-- it's one thing to be intimately associated with Andy Warhol, or Harmony Korine, and another to be known for-- hosting cheesy TV shows.

I agree. I think the slight cringe that Alexa elicits is because she is so painfully self-aware. It's all too measured. Part of the allure of "it"-ness is its nonchalance. BTW I like what you have to say about the "it" phenomenon. There needs to be thread on that if there isn't already.

I don't particularly care about Alexa Chung- frankly both her presenting and her "articles" seem mediocre. However she does pull together some cute outfits on the occasion, and that's pretty much the only reason i visit this thread.
