On the same subject, does anyone have that article where Alexa mentions the Mac brown cream eyeshadow she uses? It was an article on her beauty essentials. I'd love to find out the name of the eyeshadow!

It was MAC paint pot in Constructivist, I believe.

I think MAC liquid last is the best as it's unmoveable once dry, takes less than a minute to dry completely and it really dark.
I looked in the Lacoste store for that cardigan but no luck

What I really need is something that's easy to apply. Right eye is usually okay-ish, left is usually a smudgy as hell.

^ In that case, you should try the Chanel liquid eyeliner pen. It's less difficult to apply than others.

I agree, Chanel is the easiest to apply- the brush is sturdy enough to draw in the line, yet slightly flexible to be a bit more artistic with the flicks. The only bad point is that it doesn't last as long as i prefer. I am not a fan of the Mac liquid eyeliner- it's more of a felt tip pen and i tend to find them harder to use. I used to use the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner years ago (same one Alexa is said to use), and i have to say it's very easy to use. However you don't get the same precise flick as with liquid eyeliner. However it's great for creating a slightly smokey eyeliner effect which Alexa seems to be sporting these days. I am currently using a Rimmel liquid eyeliner, and although the pen is not as easy to use as Chanel (more felt tip), the finish is amazing and it lasts all day (at a snip of the price).

The Mac Constructivist paint pot isn't that great, mine dried out really quickly. Agreed, Rimmel eyeliner is excellent and a bargain! I've been doing la flick for years and it works lovely for all you girls on a budget. xx

I agree about the Rimmel, I use that for everyday, and if I'm going somewhere nice I use the Mac liquid last, because it won't smudge at all. (Its a right pain removing it though, haha) I hate the brush for the Mac one so i just use the rimmel one it fits perfectly!

Haha, i have done the very same thing with my Chanel eyeliner once it run out, it's such a handy technique!

I also can't watch the video, is there anyway round this?

On (alexa's) eyeliner topic - I had Chanel liquid eyliner and it was pretty good, but now I have bobbi brown gel eyeliner (I admit it I got it because Alexa has mentioned it, and I know famous girls get stuff for free but they should mention the brand and so promote it - sometimes these cheap marketing tricks work on me)
BUT BB IS amazing ... I feel I can drink three (europian) coffees and apply it with veeery shaky hand and it will still look perfect!
