i loved the JM interview, she does really well with people and i feel like she met her match with him it's rare that the person she's interviewing responds well to her.

Yes, because it's MTV, she unfortunately has to interview a lot of Disney stars for some reason and her sense of humour doesn't translate well with them. I really loved her interview with Diane Kruger, though.

I love how she sometimes would nonchalantly throw out references that the average MTV audience would not get. Like she did a Proust questionnaire, and she also mentioned that some actor "looks like Carl Barat form the Libertines." Lol. I'm not trying to belittle anyone though - I don't mean to say all people who watch MTV are stupid or uncultured.

I'm glad she hasn't really watered down the way she presents though, and MTV seem to support that. Of course I don't really know until I can watch for myself in January...

Making a hipster comeback but really was never gone.
I own some sort of flannel from each of the past 4 years during winter. (I live in FL, only 9 cold days a year you know )

i was at the show on monday - florence was great, she was so nervous though! and kept shaking etc and ed norton is reallllllly short. the studio is also a lot smaller than i thought it'd be. alexa didn't talk to the audience really, during the commercial breaks she got her makeup retouched, her skin is flawless irl but i think she looks prettier in photographs blah blah blah no one in the audience seemed to be much of a fan of her and were just there for ed or florence - the only discussion about alexa seemed to be about her weight... and not in the same vein as the comments that stay posted in this thread her outfit was pretty dull too, i was disappointed
