I'm watching her show for the second time and she's very off-putting. She's not particularly funny or charming. I don't get the sense she's remotely interested in the guest's answers to her questions. She cuts them off and doesn't digest or respond to their answers before moving on to another question. Plus she has a hoarse smoker's voice that's not very pleasant.

I'm not feeling her outfit she's wearing today either. A white blouse with black trim and black jeans with heels. Kinda boring for Alexa.

I agree with all of this except I kind of like her voice for some reason. I honestly don't see her lasting too long in this job...

Oh. I don't like the fact that everyone is starting to think that she is failing as a hostess and as a fashion icon too.
I feel a bit sorry for her, even though, I guess, she does not give a sh*t.

I dont feel its appropriate to criticise her presenting skills. She's clearly talented enough to be picked by MTV and she's worked her way up since her days at Popworld.
As for her voice, though smoking may not help, she cant really do much about that!
Oh and as for yesterdays tv outfit, i kinda wish there were shots of the socks and shoes combo, may bring a more interesting approach to the outfit.

It might not be appropriate in this this thread, but why should her presenting be above criticism? It's painful to watch most of the time. She was completely different on Popworld, she certainly hasn't "worked her way up" to anything.

Totally agree with the recent comments. I've been a fan for years, and I used to find her flaunted arrogance quite endearing. She has certainly lost her charm lately though.

She does tend to cut interviewees off and frequently doesn't respond to answers, but her show is time-limited so I can see why she wants to get through enough questions to keep the audience interested. I mean, each guest usually get about 10 minutes, so she can't really have a deep discussion on one topic for too long.
And I like her voice. I like deep voices (like Lauren Bacall) as opposed to girly voices.

I've been searching (in vain) through this thread to find a picture of some ankle boots Alexa wore semi-recently - they're black leather with a fairly flat heel and studs on a sort of strap (or at least that's how they are in my memory). Anybody know which I'm talking about?
