Anyway, I love the Pepe Jeans ads. Not only are they beautiful pictures, but they make me want to buy the clothes, which I would never do it my right mind. Lovely, and so many.

It's also nice to see Alexa wearing jeans more often in her candids. They look great on her and it seems Brooklyn is affecting her style just a touch.
I think the reason the jeans look a bit strange in profile [as someone commented] in the pictures shopping with the LV bag is because her shirt is tucked in and it disrupts the silouette around her waist. Otherwise, they would look great.

Wow, they really look nothing alike. I don't know who Johanna (?) is, but she looks nothing like Alexa whatsoever, except for maybe the nose. Check out her cleft chin in that picture! Alexa is a thousand times prettier.

Yes, I guess her ears are pierced. I saw pictures where Alexa wears earrings, but it was in 2006 or so.

Alexa, imo, is MUCH much prettier overall than Johanna (Alex's Ex).

However, there is, in certain photos, a similarity between the two.

Case in point: Compare the last photo of Alexa in post #1514 (it opens in another screen in Image Shack) to the photo of Johanna in post #1508. If you place them side-by-side, you can see a resemblance.

But like I said, Alexa is generally the much more attractive lady, with major major style, of course.

johanna isn't in the public eye so i don't really see the point in talking about her/essentially saying she's a less-pretty version of alexa.... :/ idk just seems kind of unnecessary and slightly rude imo! anyway i like the maxi dress; i wish i was tall enough to wear one! and i wonder why her madewell collaboration was pushed back..during the preview weren't they saying august? just to coincide with fashion night out for extra press/better sales i guess?

I like the silhouette of the maxi dress on her, it's a nice change from her usual outfits

On a general note, I have come to realise that it's unrealistic and unachievable to emulate Alexa's style. There are a couple of girls who I know who attempt to dress like her, but end up being so far off, and I still can't put my finger on why. I'll often see clothes that I could never imagine Alexa wearing / I think look hideous, yet she then manages to pull them off so well. I'll just never be Alexa..

I share this view - but you know I really think it's her height and long legs?

I'm only 5'4, still slim-ish and petite but sooo short... one of the reasons I first started to like Alexa all those years ago is cos I noticed I had some of the same clothes as her (Kate Moss pansy dress, American Apparel grey jersey skirt, the Saint James nautical breton top etc) and found her accessible. Since then I've bought quite a few of the high street things I've seen her in, but I just NEVER look as good as she does!

I tried for ages to find a Breton stripy top the same cut as the one Alexa ALWAYS wears, you know... I wanted the drop shoulders, boat neck, square cut:

I found this random French site and ordered one - when it came I realised it's EXACTLY the same as Alexa's! It's a Saint James sailing shirt, a Parisian sailing brand... you can see in other pictures the black Saint James label on the left arm. So, if you've ever been looking for that top you can get it here - I literally never take it off, I'm going to order loads more colours!

I think it's because she's pretty. You know, beautiful people can put on whatever they want and still look gorgeous. She's also got lots of attitude, it's like Kate Moss phenomenon (old Kate, not today's). They both are rather self-confident and don't care what other people will think of them. They don't try to copy anyone's style, they just dress like they feel. I think it's the answer

The one I got that Alexa has is the first one, White/Navy. Click "see colour swatches" to see the rest.

The shirts themselves are cheap, the postage kinda isn't... I thought it was worth it though! it's worth checking actual sailing shops too as I've seen them around those B)
