No, it's not a repost.
I'm looking forward to the new LOVE mag on monday! But I'm a little sad that Alexa is not on one of the covers. Seeing her on this review pictures surprised me a little, I didn't know she would be in.

IF there's one person you're going to take festival fashion advice from it's Alexa Chung - whose Barbour and Breton combinations have quickly earned her style stripes.


"I usually just pick something I'm comfortable in and shove a Barbour over it because nothing is fun when you're freezing cold," says Chung, who'll be heading to V Festival this weekend. "Wrap up warm, take lots of layers, a good scarf, check the weather reports, invest in some wellies. Don't experiment with something you've never worn before, it needs to be comfortable," she advises.

Aside from staying warm, what is it that Chung looks forward to most about festivals?
"Watching bands and getting drunk," she says, recalling her first festival memory to be begging her mum to let her go to Reading at 15 and being sent off "with embarrassing things like carrots and humous in my backpack".

And when she's not standing in a field, what does she prefer, modelling clothes or designing them (she's the new face of Lacoste and launched her debut fashion collection for US label Madewell in February this year)?

"I like designing them because you get to play around and make things you wish existed a reality," says Chung.

Alexa Chung will be heading to V Festival 2010 to host Channel 4's exclusive coverage. Catch all the highlights from the festival on Channel 4 and 4Music from August 21 and 22.

so I (drumroll?) bumped into alexa this noon - on brick ln in the second rokit. all.sorts.of.weird.took me two seconds to ID her because she was smaller **as Id imagined her to be from the candids. didnt buy anything,just skimmed through the gear 2-3 minutes.outfit: obviously nowt special,because I actually DONT REMEMBER the top.only the blueish grez treggings,and flat shoes. have no idea what type though,didnt stare at her]
and she chopped her hair,yeh.now officially believing her to be a natural beauty.

She's in this september French vogue. Just a two-pages article, nothing really new, and tiny pictures. We do see a little part of her bag and sunglasses collection, though.

i agree. her outfit is cute. she's wearing her levi shorts, a large t-shirt, her over-sized cream cable knit cardi and small wellies with laces.

I thought it could be that cardigan, but if it is the same one she was seen wearing during her style blog for vogue, it think when she was pictured wearing the cardigan she said it was vintage (but they are definitely similar!)

hopefully she will be doing the late coverage which starts in like 1 minute!

Anyone know the exact date of her Madewell collection launch? I swear someone posted about it a few pages back, but I couldn't find anything. I seriously cannot wait!

September 9 online, and September 11 in Madewell stores!

Yeah, I saw her walking in Williamsburg a few weeks ago and her hair was that length. She may have trimmed it a bit since then, but much more than that I really doubt.
