The TV presenter-and-model wore one of Christopher’s creations to last night’s (28.11.11) British Fashion Awards and he says he was thrilled when he saw it on her.
He told Grazia: “I think Alexa looks pretty hot tonight actually. She’s wearing the last look from the [Spring/Summer 2012] show.
“It was just one of those things. She contacts me, she wanted to wear something so it’s great. She looks phenomenal, she always does.”
And it seems Alexa’s efforts paid off as she won the British Style Award, brought to you by Vodafone, for the second year running and she admits she was very flattered with the accolade.
Talking about the award - which is the only one voted for by the British public - Alexa said: “It’s just nice that I’m still relevant in 2011, isn’t it? I thought 2010 was a big one but now it’s got better.
I think this is the only one that the public voted for so it’s such an honour, it’s crazy, it’s so nice.”
Alexa beat nominees including Adele, Daisy Lowe, Florence Welch, Lara Stone, Stella McCartney and Tilda Swinton.
