I watched the beginning on the website, and I could not get myself to watch more than 10 minutes. I thought the contestants had terrible taste, none were intriguing at all. why is the show so similar to project runway?

^ gosh that seems like an awfully spiteful sounding review doesnt it? My first impression was that the writer dislikes Alexa Chung, whereas I find Alexa refreshing compared to Heidi Klum, lol. But Boomer is right; most of the reviews are like that, which is sad. Admittedly I didn't see the show, but it seems like Alexa just needs to find her own niche, which I am not sure she's done yet, and which I am not sure is in fashion or necessarily television. Although I tend to find her great in video/on t.v. Maybe the issue is the difference between British and American sensibilities? Maybe she'd be best off in Britain? Although in Canada (and the world over actually) we get mostly American TV. Anyhow, it's too bad that the reviews are poor.

I just watched it online! I love what she was wearing on the show, however that show is horrible! I couldnt even finish watching cuz its so boring. If I wanna watch something like this I would watch Project Runway. They totally copied the idea of Project Runway!

What a shame about the reviews. I haven't yet seen any of it, I was planning on watching it online. I'm sure she would get a lot more work back in England, but i guess she really wants to make it the US?

i don't think it's poor judgment, i think she takes what she can get. she looks fabulous doing it.

^Yeah, she doesn't seem like the type who really cares about what she's doing, as long as she's doing something and receiving a paycheck. Tbh, and I seem to be the only one who thinks this, I don't think the show id actually as bad as reviews/people are saying. The only think is the designers are just so incredibly sh*t, but other than that, it's no worse than your average tv reality competition.
Oh, and Alexa wore a really nice grey dress in the second episode, would love an ID if anyone watched.
And that review Boomer posted was sooooo cringeworthy!
