She lives in brooklyn. She needed to be in manhattan to attend Met Gala so she used the hotel i think. And people stay at a hotel in manhattan sometimes for some refreshment which is called "staycation" even if they have an apartment and live in manhattan. I do the same thing here in Tokyo.

yeah, I love the Bowery. Everything is good. The people are nice and kind, the room is comfy and has great style, the bar is fancy, the restaurant Gemma serves delish food!
I stayed there 3 years ago and I visited there to lunch at Gemma when I lived in soho late last year.
I remember Alexa attended some Mulberry or Madewell party held there a few seasons ago and she looked stylish!
