True Blood co-stars Alexander Skarsgard and Joe Manganiello head out for the night to support the arts on Thursday (April 28) in Culver City, Calif.

The two stars, along with numerous others, gathered to celebrate IWC Schaffhausen and Peter Lindbergh’s “A Night in Portofino,” a photographic collaboration between the legendary photographer, the Swiss watchmaker and IWC.

This one night event was a hit!

Also in attendance at the star studded event were Josh Duhamel, Rob Lowe, and Rachel Zoe, to name a few!

Kate’s real-life beau, Alexander, will play her high school boyfriend. The two met on the film’s set!

The Rod Lurie-directed flick, which will be a remake of the 1971 film of the same name, hits theaters this September and also stars Rhys Coiro

Alexander Skarsgard heads back to his car after having lunch with his actor pal Keith Ewell on Wednesday (May 11) in Los Angeles.

Last month, Alex and Keith attended the 2011 Coachella Musical Festival with Alex’s Straw Dogs co-star Rhys Coiro (24, Entourage).

Alex just joined the cast of the film What Maisie Knew as the new husband to Julianne Moore’s character!

The story centers on “Maisie, a six-year-old girl enmeshed in the bitter divorce of her mother (Moore), a rock and roll icon, and her father (Steve Coogan), a charming but distracted art dealer,” according to THR.

Synopsis: “L.A. screenwriter David Sumner (Marsden) relocates with his wife (Bosworth) to her hometown in the deep South. There, while tensions build between them, a brewing conflict with locals becomes a threat to them both.”

Alex, who met Kate on the set of the thriller, takes on the role of her boyfriend from high school.

The film, out September 16, also includes Entourage’s Rhys Coiro and is a remake of the 1971 film starring Dustin Hoffman.

Alexander Skarsgard heats up the June 2011 cover of GQ, on newsstands May 24.

Here’s what the 34-year-old True Blood star shared in the “Here Comes The Viking” cover feature:

On his dad, Stellan, who’s also an actor: “I don’t think I came to acting to compete with my father. But, you know, he wasn’t around as much as normal dads, and seeing his passion … Maybe it was a way to get his attention. I mean, if anything, we’re trying to take care of him. He’s over the hill.”

On life in L.A. and the entertainment industry: “Hollywood can be like kids playing marbles on the schoolyard. Everybody wants the shiny marble until one kid says he doesn’t. Then nobody will touch it. So it’s important that I make good decisions now.”

Straw Dogs director Rod Lurie on co-stars and real-life couple Alexander and Kate Bosworth: “In the beginning [of filming the r*pe scene], Kate would be crying after every take and Alex would try to comfort her. By the end, everybody got really raw.”

Alexander Skarsgard wears his usual Nike workout gear while heading to Equinox to work on his fitness on Thursday (May 19) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 34-year-old True Blood actor got in a workout the day before at Runyon Canyon where he was spotted on a solo run.

Alex recently opened up to GQ about filming love scenes on his hit TV series.

“It’s really clear to Steve [Moyer] and to everybody else what the deal is—which is that Anna [Paquin] is like a sister to me,” Alex said. “Those love scenes take quite a bit of acting, actually. A lot of acting.”

Alexander Skarsgard leaves the Giorgio Armani boutique on Tuesday (May 24) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The day before, the 34-year-old True Blood hunk ran some errands, picking up groceries from Bristol Farms.

Alex recently recalled living in England for half a year after attending Leeds Metropolitan University in the U.K.

“Me and my buddy, after the military, we wanted to travel, and we wanted to go to England, but we didn’t want to go to London, because there are like 300,000 Swedes in London and you just end up hanging out with Swedes, so we just looked at the map and saw Leeds,” he told FHM.

“We didn’t know anything about it other than it had a football club. So we were like, ‘Alright, let’s go there.’ I loved it. I had a great time. We lived in a basement with no windows, it was sleeping bags for six months, but it was all good times,” he added.
