Alexander Wang Resort 2022 : Lucy Liu by Heji Shin

What the actual f*ck?

Ironic that Lucy Liu has a link to an article about "standing up for yourself' on her Instagram account but then says yes to working on this campaign... embarrassing

I do like the second shot, kind of trashy done right. Like that Meisel trailer trash editorial if it would time-travel to 2021. The first one is… a choice.

The collaboration I didn't know I needed but love.

I had high expectations seeing the title but........ this is disappointing.

Not in love with this at all. Hopefully there is more to come, video or images, that present something more interesting.

I suppose as a business he had to forge onward, however, it is still a bit unsettling to see an ad campaign from him. After everything that was brought to light...and to have Lucy Liu fronting it...wow.

I love the second and third images, in the third image she looks like a Triad boss I think she would ace the role in a Netflix series especially after she aced the villain role in Kill Bill.

It’s a good campaign. There is something very LaChapelle in the first shot.
So I guess 2022 will mark the return of Alexander in the forefront of fashion?

He was kind of « socially banned » and I think he used that time to be more present in Asia.
Lucy Liu is a big name enough to generate attention so maybe it’s a signal of his comeback.

Lucy Liu, the same woman who publicly shamed Bill Murray over an on-set argument and asserted that "I don’t want to be that person that is not going to speak up for myself and stand by the only thing that I have, which is my dignity and self-respect.”?

Seriously, the double-standards of some of these Hollywood types just astonishes me. It's really quite disgusting that she thought it would be appropriate to be the face of a brand that is associated with what it is. I guess keeping your dignity and self-respect comes as a price and with no further consideration of what Wang's victims suffered through.

More and more photographers are influenced by ANTM and Model Mayhem-era fashion imagery.~

It looks like an ANTM Cycle 17 shoot for Express (LOL we all have guilty pleasures).

Also, shame on her for taking part in this. Why on earth did he still get funded though?
