agreed there! she did a really good job of looking comfortable. i have a hard time looking comfortable even in shoots where i have no shirt but nothing will show. not to mention being put in a pair of high heels only. talk about awkward when you're just hanging out on set when the photographer is fixing things or whatever. she deserves major points. and she has so much emotion put into the photos. ali is a very good model, getting better all time. despite the nudity that we're all talking about, those pictures show how good she is at what she does. it takes a lot of skill to look comfortable, natural, and CONFIDENT in poses and, uh, wardrobe, like that.

I really really do like Ali , I think shes great and in interviews she seems really level headed but it seems like Ali is doing everything to succeed but here it is yet she says she didnt really want to model and how if it ends she'll walk away happy and she won't sacrifice anything/everything for modelling dadada..she'll stay healthy and its not the be all end all of life.. it kinda all seems fake you know..the things she has sacrificed as we can see is a lot.. but yes .. just the whole 'good girl' vibe she gives off etc..and how it was strange for her to be in a see through dress let alone topless..
for example: it wouldnt be strange if kate moss did something like this.. but yes its just a personal thought so ..

I agree, I really don't understand the fuss. Plenty of models have posed nude before and it really didn't affect their career in any way. Ali looks great in the shots! B)

meidude, i think the fuss is because it's shocking. lots of people think of her as the "good girl", it's even on her nymag profile, especially after being in teen vogue a lot and doing the today show where she looked so innocent and young. her image was clean and fresh and now she's this sexy rockstar and all grown up! there's nothing wrong with it, but it's different and that can throw you off guard when we're used to her seeming so young! but more power to ali. i admire her.

i mean, it was definitely unexpected. she definitely was the teen vogue girl. what i don't understand is why people are upset is more what i meant. she's very successful so i doubt she was forced into it in any way, so i assume she was also comfortable with the decision. plenty of good girl models have gone nude before, even gemma ward (and i think before she was 18! =O) without having their careers affected.

She is just a model. It's not like she was an innocent Disney tween star idol who has had some nude shots stolen from her phone. This is just her work, to do what she's told by the photographer. Only a small minority of people who see that photo will know who she is.

Well I think Ali looks fantastic, especially on the Wallpaper cover. She has a great bod and i'm actually pretty surprised she has boobs unlike the majority of models. She looks awesome!
