Ali Michael

Ahhh. That picture from my post about the website isn't working and I hate to leave the post with a strange description and no picture, so I fixed the link.

PLEASE DO NOT QUOTE IMAGES IN REPLIES!

Gorgeous cover:heart:I'm interested on what does it say inside becouse on the cover it's written "Cover girl Ali Michael Gives Us Some Face Time".She's probably talking about her beauty care.

I don't think this was posted..It's an article with ali's opinions on some of the work she's done.

The many faces of Ali Michael, a model with roots in Grapevine
09:44 AM CDT on Wednesday, June 3, 2009
BY DAVID NINH

Ali Michael was just a 15-year-old Grapevine High School student when she won the 2005 Fashion!Dallas/Kim Dawson Model Search. Since then, she's posed for the likes of Arthur Elgort, Patrick Demarchelier and Paolo Roversi; been in W and Vogue; and stomped countless New York and European runways. Porcelain skin, strong brows and near-waist-length hair are her trademarks. But as these photos suggest, she's also a changeling who can morph from vamp to vulnerable, edgy to all-American with little more than makeup and a blow-dryer.

John Galliano, spring 2008 collection
Galliano is more of a performance than a show. The crazy hair and makeup really helped me to get into this doll-like character, and gave me the confidence to just go all-out with the audience."

French Mixte, March 2009
This is one of my favorite stories I've done. It has that super-natural Brooke Shields vibe that is always classic and beautiful on anyone."

Fendi, spring 2009 collection
When I went to Fendi for my fitting, I happened to be inside at the same time that the hair and makeup test for the show was being done. I saw the girl with the hair from the show and was terrified because I thought that they were actually going to rat our real hair out and make it into a mohawk. Luckily, I found out later that they were all extensions!"

Yohji Yamamoto, fall 2008 collection
This hair and makeup was different than anything I'd ever seen. Everyone was unrecognizable, but it was so beautiful with the collection that Yohji did."

Teen Vogue, December- January 2006-2007
This was my first-ever job for Teen Vogue, as well as my first time to work with a big icon like [makeup artist] Gucci Westman. I was 16 years old. She was fantastic and so were the golden eyes."

W magazine, June 2007

This was shot by Craig McDean at 3 a.m. the night before I left Paris for home my first season. I hadn't had bangs since I was about 4, so it was fun to revisit that look. I didn't want to take them off!"

Italian Vogue, March 2008
Paolo Roversi photographed this story. The big, curly hair made me feel like this sort of crazy little girl living in this huge old house by herself. The makeup was bare."

Vogue Latino America, February 2009
This look reminds me of the holidays because the hair and makeup is so rich and classic. The lighting made my hair look that red."

I love reading her thoughts on her work! Now I'm more anxious to see her in September :woot:

Even with all the hype over Ali, I know she won the hearts of many designers who applauded her openness about fashion. ^_^

Yes I'm sure it's an editorial (I remember seeing it somewhere) but I can't recall exactly what it is either :D

Yeah, it's been posted before. It's a part of the Lulu cover + editorial she got, it can be found in full here.
