Ali Michael's meteoric rise as a runway and print model is the stuff Model Search dreams are made of
After winning the 2005 Fashion!Dallas/Kim Dawson Model Search, the baby-faced teen booked multiple F!D luxe covers before shooting for Teen Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Italian Vogue.
She also racked up some major mileage strutting on runways in New York and Europe for Marc by Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Chanel and more. Now 18, the recent high school grad can add city girl to her résumé – she recently moved to the Big Apple from Colleyville to model full time

Most memorable model moment?
My most memorable moment would probably have to be opening Lanvin during my first show season. It was absolutely surreal to me that I was even in Paris doing shows, let alone leading out such an amazing production.
What's next on your plate?
I just moved to New York this summer, so things are going full force. I've got fall campaigns for Anna Sui, Lord & Taylor, Sportmax (Max Mara's sportswear label) and the Lanvin fragrance, Jeanne Lanvin, that just came out. I'll also be doing shows in New York, Milan and Paris in September.
What essentials do you take to castings?
The most important are my portfolio and a pair of heels. No one wants to run all over New York in anything but sneakers! I'll also usually bring a mirror, lip balm and a snack of fruit
