Sorry if this is a silly question, but will she EVER do runway again?
Does IMG just not send her to any castings or is she not booking any shows?
Can she refuse to do runway as part of her IMG contract?

I've often wondered that. My only guess is her measurwments are probably bigger than what IMG states they are, and Ali had no intention of changing them, as she's spoken about. That, or she pissed off people in the industry when she went on the news.

Hmm maybe the measurement thing is true.

Re her speaking out (in 2008) - she did runway shows only one year after (2009 - video below) that so it seems that is not the hindrance. Her measurements are VERY different in those videos to what IMG currently says and she so looks different so perhaps you are right.

I didn't think she was that big (as in a star) that IMG would be willing to lie would they?

Lots of established models stop doing runway after a certain point in their careers, usually so they don't have to compete for jobs with fifteen year olds when they can make more money off a commercial shoot. Runway is difficult, lots of uncertainty, difficult hours, staying within the requirements etc. It makes sense to me that she wouldn't choose to do it anymore, regardless of whether measurements were an issue.

I understand all that. My questions are, could it say in her contract that she refuses to do it or would IMG 1) just implicitly understand or 2) have decided it themselves and not sent her comp card out/ send her to castings?

She only joined IMG recently (2012 I believe) give or take a few months.

Now I am really interested/nosy.
I wish she did runway. I miss her and her print work doesn't hardly ever reaches where I live and the website stores offer different styles for my seasons.
