She just got that certain, yet intangible allure to her. She looks amazing at Balenciaga as well. These castings are certainly making Ali one to watch.
I absolutely love how Ali looks on the runways. Especially since, as you said J'adore, she looks so calm and soft in her tests; yet so strong and directed on the runways.
She probably just needs some time to learn how to use her mouth. I find it quite a common thing with a lot of new models that haven't had much time to practice.

hmm...maybe...hopefully thats the case..
i'm not sure though..it seems to be the shape of her lips..
her bottom lip looks sucked in...and it looks like she's constantly growling...
it has something to do with her chin too..
anyway..hopefully that doesnt harm her career..
i just find it particularly noticeable on the runway.
See I'm all for the lips! Then again I've always been one to regard those physical features that differentiate each girl in high regard. I personally love that downward turn that seems to result from where her chin intercepts the bottom lip. It gives her character and certainly prevents here from being just another doe-eyed girl on the runway. While we're on facial features, I love the way her face narrows in at the eyes. I understand that's entirely random, but mine does as well so its kind of fun.
Anyhow, all that aside, Ali is certainly one of my top five favorite new faces from this season. She seems to be taking Paris by storm, certainly more so than a few other new, Miuccia approved girls (well, those that don't have a Miu Miu exclusive that is).
