A Sneak Peek at This Week's Model, Ali!
W shares our model love, as each week they focus on a different model in This Week’s Model.
And Modelinia has the exclusive first look at tomorrow’s model of the week: Ali Stephens.
The Salt Lake City beauty was scouted while at a shopping mall, but it wasn’t until months later when she finally sent in her Polariods that she quickly rose to attention. Two weeks after she signed with her agency, Elite, Ali was walking down the Prada runway! “I was just this little girl from Utah, so I didn’t know how big a deal it was,” she said. “I’m glad I didn’t really know what was going on because had I known, I would have been way too nervous. I do remember after I came off the runway for the first time, I wanted to keep doing it over and over again. It was very exciting.”
But of course, not everything is fun and games—though Ali certainly knows how to handle any mishaps that might come her way. “At the Elie Saab Spring 2009 show, I had a dress with a really high slit on the side and I flashed the audience while I was walking. I had to hold my dress the rest of the time.”
