...any way...she made the cut. They picked 8 girls and gave them the paperwork to fill out and overnight to NY. If you get a call in the next 3 business days pack your bags and you're headed to NY.

When you get there,they are going to narrow the search down to 10 girls and 2 extras and they get to stay in a loft apartment. The rest will be headed back home. If you are picked.you will be in NY for the month of Nov for the model search competition.

I will be able to let you know if she is picked or not....but after that model "mums" the word....'

I don't understand. Isn't she already a model with agency representation? Why does she need to enter some competition for the chance to walk the VS runway? Why isn't her agency working to book her for the show? I know she' not really with Ford NY anymore, but what about her local agency?

What's not to understand...she went to the contest on her own because she wanted a chance to walk in the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. She doesn't have an exclusive contract with her agency in Saint Louis...so no rules broken. Her agency in Saint Louis is very happy for her and they are great people....not quite the same scene as when she was younger.

She took a chance and it's all still up in the air...but she's thrilled at the chance to work for the Victoria Secret Company and we will just have to wait and see what happens.

It sounds very exciting. Is VS filming this? It seems like a long process for a casting.

She's almost 5'11....They had just told the girls that they were in the finals and she bent down and gave a big jump right after the pic....so yes she does look rather short.
