Yeah. She looks like a model amongst a bunch of regular "hotties" with too much makeup.

I can see people voting for that cute California blonde (Kylie?) - this is VS after all - but Ali definitely gets my vote.

Victoria's Secret revealed the top ten finalists in their nationwide model search today. And none of them are from New York! They range from 18 to 25 and will spend the next few days in "Angel Bootcamp," which a press release describes as "a series of challenges where the contestants will show their photogenic qualities, prove their abilities as a spokesmodel, show off their red carpet star quality and radiate charisma while walking a runway in lingerie." Weekly webisodes of this stuff will air on VSAllAccess.com and CBS.com. So you can make an educated decision when you vote for your favorite chick beginning November 9. Yes, Victoria's Secret is trusting us, the public, to pick the lucky average girl to walk in the fashion show, which airs on CBS December 1. Deep breaths.

Yes she is the most unique. One or two of the other girls could be OK - but VS already has those kind of 'Marissa girls'. Ali would bring a more high fashion edge. The rest of the bunch are hot ****** messes.

I really think Ali looks the best out of all the women,and I'm not being biased at all.She looks so natural and really comfortable in front of the camera as well as in herself.And she's not pouting or doing any funny expressions.

^ My impression is that VS is about making the most of your assets, so it makes sense to me to have someone like Ali who is demonstrating very nicely how the product optimizes, but yet is not in your face, vs. some of the others ... one who seemingly can't be helped, and a few others whose assets need no maximization
