That might be so but let's remember why models are doing shows. It's not because of the stress and certainly not because of the money. It is a massive gosee and models with bad skin should generally not be seen like that in 'public'. So it is actually a good thing that she was booked out and strategically I do not find it smart to let a model do everything with a bad skin. If Alisa got that allergy right before the shows then she had possibly already seen some clients and got some shows i.e. Peter Som which she opened. And her bookers can't be blamed since they possibly simply tried while hoping that the allergy goes away fast. So better an outbooking. I don't want to say that Kirstin is mismanaged but I find it highly risky to let her do the show season if her skin is bad.
I have to laugh. Everyone is freaking out with her lack of appearances during Fashion Week, yet it seems like she has gotten a solid hold editorially. Numero, Gucci and Tiffany with Freja is a winner round to me!
Her first shot on Vogue Paris may not be as strong as some of her counterparts, but I find her to be quite refreshing in front of the camera. I've said it before, Alisa gives me a young Iselin Steiro vibe. I'm still waiting for her to be a bit stronger in front of the camera, but the potential is there.
As for this editorial, I just wish they gave her stronger eyebrows. Still beautiful though.
