All About Lighting

*bump*

sloan thats really pretty :flower:

I kinda like the Henry Bogart Collection  its by Thomasville  which is usually :yuk:

From models.com, I think these are wonderful- and not too expensive either! :buzz:

The fashion of the Zeroes might still be bedded in revival fever but early 21st century industrial design has been fast forwarding with a brilliant new aesthetic. Designers like Phillipe Starck (with the seminal Louis Ghost chair), Ferruccio Laviani (with his eagerly anticipated Bourgie lamp) and Jon Russel (with the Ghost Candelabra) are addressing the computer age's tension between a digital aesthetic and the revisionist impulse towards the decorative .Our favorite new product though has to be Tord Boontje's insanely successful Garland light set which uses Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) routing to create a gorgeous tangle of stainless steel flowers and leaves. It is so this year's Milk Bottle lamp. And if you mod-minimalist friends want to sneer in disapproval, just tell them its your directional Art Nouveau gesture. All for a mere $70!

Do you mean Humphrey? ;)

I'm looking for a really impressive chandelier/ceiling lamp for our loft. Everything I like is so expensive  Where's that from purple?

I saw the Ingo Maurer one at the store the other day, it's very cool.

And this one is nice but maybe a bit overdone? (the price is great)

Also, considered this mother of the pearl lamp for a moment but it's too glitzy

Birds birds birds by Ingo Maurer would be perfect :innocent:
