Designed in 1950 by a French machinist named Jean-Louis Domecq, the Jieldé lamp — long considered a classic — is getting an update. Last year, the company introduced a smaller, desk-friendly version of the multijointed metal lamp, which is still assembled by hand. And in September, all the Jieldé lamps — both small and standard-size — will be available in three new eye-popping colors: fluorescent pink, red and orange. gius i like that those photos really show some alternative forms of lighting..
in the bottom left photo it looks like they are sprouting from the ground rather than from the ceiling as is traditional

the panels along the walls are also interesting, and the tailor's dummy or whatever those are called definitely caught my eye because i could picture it in a fashion-lover's home or in a retail store--there seem to be lots of possibilities for that one

Is there anyone here who study lighting or know any good educations? I study Lightingdesign here in Sweden and i´m interested if anyone else is soing something similar.
