interesting...

do you happen to know what that is made of gius?

reminds me of a peach pit.. :p

I'm afraid to say it might actually be made of bread

I found this on and-made.com
The Much Kneaded Objects collection came from an experimentation project which aimed to push people into making their own objects at home. I wanted people to embrace making through a process that had an element of fun and unperdictability. The lamps are all made from waste products and readily available ingredients from the kitchen. To further the project I wanted to learn to control the yeast reaction, so I built a kiln and constucted a series of stainless moulds which enabled me to create a series of stools and floor lights.

that was unexpected!

it certainly clarifies the name/title a bit

#108 - That spider chandelier kinda freaks me out..

#110 - Bread lights? Interesting..

#109 - love those top hats, classic..

love that first one, berlinrocks.. (#115)
the round Gaetano Pusce
what a weird material
i saw his website, very interesting, he sometimes uses paper
he often mixes weird materials together, just creating structure with urethane and wire

you write it's your photos
do you mean you took them at a gallery? :o
i can't find Gaetano's lamp in his website portfolio... do you happen to remember what it's made of?

those are lovely adore :crush:!

i love innovative takes on everyday things and incorporating nature etc..

meaning..
taking something like a tree brank and flowers and turning it/or the idea or image of it, into a functional beautiful piece that gives off light and serves another purpose..

i also like how literal the actual designs are..
sure, lighting fixtures often mimic branches or flowers but not usually with such a precise imitation...

i like that you might not be able to tell that these are sources of light if they are not turned on...

enough gushing from me though.. :p

thanks again! :woot:
