Local beauty Allegra Carpenter appears in the latest issue of Marie Claire magazine. The Vivien's model was photographed by David Gubert and had the mag's fashion editor-at-large Valeryi Yong raving. "Allegra looked like a young French starlet and she also brought a modern and refined edge to a retro story," says Yong. Another Perth beauty, Pania Rose, features in a series of high-glamour fashion and beauty shots for the current issue of Madison. The pictures were taken in Sydney, where Rose also shot the next Jigsaw campaign and a profile piece for GQ magazine. Pania is now back in New York, but plans to be in Perth for Christmas. And in other model news, another Vivien's model Ryan Channing is set to appear in next year's Paris menswear shows. Vivien's discovered Channing in its Perth Model Search two years ago. He is currently working in Singapore.
