totally agree! I love Whitney (and Conrad) but they BOTH have filters up in the show...everything they say outloud you can tell they have thought through carefully in their head..which is smart I guess, but not REAL.

I love Allie too! So sweet.

^Completely agree with both of you. "Filters" can make you seem a little too self aware whereas showing your real, honest emotions seems more human and relatable.

Whitney Port and her crew are picky eaters. Port and her “The City” co-star, Allie Crandell, were spotted with friends at Aleo restaurant on West 20th Street the other night. The women “sent a message to the kitchen to hold the fat and carbs,” said one insider. So chef Pete Raimondi “whipped up a huge Mediterranean salad, grilled calamari and shrimp, and roasted asparagus, zucchini and eggplant.”

Looks like Allie will be back on the show! But in more important discussion, do you find it strange that the girls went to an nice New York restaurant and ordered a veggie platter. Gawker seems to think so. They wrote that the ladies went to a decent New York restaurant (not a great one) and ordered essentially what comes down to a crudité. Sorry, ladies, but you go to eat out in New York, you don’t order a veggie platter. Bad form. At least order a dish, or something. Save the crunch veggies for, I don’t know, the Super Bowl party.
