Allure August 2006 : Kate Hudson by Michael Thompson

I flipped through it really quickly and so far I have not seen anything by Testino. The major editorial in this issue is photographed by Patrick Demarchelier and Kate's is shot by Michael Thompson.

In fact there are a few nice editorials in this issue including one with Linda Evangelista!!!! Also, Kate Hudson's editorial is quite lengthy and bit more exciting than her Vogue shoot - although she does wear yet again a Balenciaga hat!!!

This issue is so much better than last month.

OMG that is so true why is she getting covers?I mean she was on a cover of VOGUE 3 times and like you said promoting movies like You,Me and Dupree,WTF!!These editors are crazy!
And i swear i have a issue from 2000 with Mariah Carey on the cover the exact same shoot and make up-this is scary!

I completely agree! I think it's because society can't get enough of celebrity offspring. I mean Shiloh Nouvelle is probably being booked for Vogue 2026 we speak. I don't get Hudson's appeal.

I think that Kate Hudson is an amazing (golden globe and oscar-nominated )actress who is more taleted than her mother and is all different and unique on her own.she's the only reason i'll be buying this issue.she'stalented,got a fantastic personality and has a very distinctive hippie chick meets rock chick style.nd shes abslutely gorgeous
