They wasted the opportunity! She is a gorgeous girl, and this could have been a stellar cover if it not for that eye makeup! It's too heavy for the setting. Had they minimized it, it could have been gorgeous.

Awful make up but I lkie this close up. The stylling is nice too.

I got really excited when I saw her name but this is very disappointing.

I don't really see much of a change since Linda Wells was replaced. I was expecting a makeover a la Self.

I love her and I like the cover but I agree, the eye make up is too heavy. Something softer would look much prettier.

Bummed. Was expecting something a lot better than this. The makeup just doesn't work here. Too harsh with the subtle and soft styling.

This is the first cover under Lee which I outright loathe. Everything else is soft except her eye make-up. And just like Amy Adams' feature, the styling here looks terribly cheap.

I don't really see much of a change since Linda Wells was replaced. I was expecting a makeover a la Self.

Given that Allure is the only US magazine I get every month, I was expecting the new editor to give the entire magazine a makeover that would make me hate it, but it doesn't seem to have changed that much.

The page layout might be a bit more 'airy', with slightly more space between elements, but not to the extent where it's a wasteland of white space in the name of being arty, which seems to be US HB's trick.

And I enjoyed the unexpected detour to FKA Twigs, because that wasn't a face I expected to see on a cover.

But maybe the makeover is being reserved for the September issue, the traditional time to make big changes and trumpet some sort of relaunch.

I've noticed much more written content since the new editor.

I'm loving Body and Sol more and more, it's a real-life kind of summery, not an obvious summer ed you see all the time (which always casts bubbly blonde models with the cheesy tousled, beachy hair.) I hope Allure continues using Benny Horne!
