Perhaps the best Emilia Clarke cover I’ve seen, or at least that I can remember. I can appreciate how fresh it feels for June, how clean, simple and direct Ohlsson’s portrait of Emilia is and how it’s a departure from the dark Adut Akech cover last month!

Truly a stunning portrait, I can't fault anything. It's the simplicity of it all, and that bone structure that wins me over.

I am however gutted because this cover automatically means no US Vogue for at least a few months. It'll happen eventually, I'm sure.

Why wouldn’t she care about her own career? Is she considering quitting the business?

I think it is an okay cover. I still think she is so captivating on TV and this hasn't completely translated into print.
I am happy for Marcus Ohlsson, I think he's underrated.
And I agree with vogue28 - it feels very much like a June cover which I love.

Yes, Emilia is definitely telegenic - and attractive - but we keep seeing that this doesn't necessarily translate into being photogenic, at least not on the same level as her screen presence.

It makes you realise there really is something special about the models who continually make their work seem easy.

This shoot is really one of her best. Aside from the actual cover which I still like, the first and last shots in the above edit are also solid cover tries.

She is so stunning and looks incredible.
Love the straight on portrait as well.

For me this is the best she’s photographed, anywhere. Such a shame it wasn’t a Vogue cover for her but that could be because she’s in a new Paul Feig rom com due out this Christmas, perhaps timings wise it was deliberate to accommodate print press for that also.

Emilia is one of my favorites, always happy to see her. Still want her to get a US Vogue cover, but hopefully it's coming.

As for her future career, I for one care very much and can't wait to see what she does next (more than anyone else in the cast). She did a few high-profile projects while on the show (Solo, Me Before You, Terminator) but I do wonder if her health issues kept her from doing more. She had at least two brain surgeries while on hiatus from GoT.

That's a gorgeous cover and editorial. Probably the best I've ever seen of her. The GOT finale this month, is the only thing people will be talking about for a long time. The "Mad Queen" should be on the June cover of Vogue. As usual, Anna missed a great opportunity, and stuck to the formula.
