I can't believe Alyssa has a thread! I still remember when she won the girlfriend model competition years ago!

I remember ye olde Girlfriend days too, I even voted for her and have followed her ever since. I think it's fantastic that she's won a campaign such as for Chanel makeup at the ripe old age of 24 - she's moving into acting now, but I really hope she'll keep on modelling as long as the jobs keep rolling in for her.

Just seen the Chanel ad in a magazine, it's great but I'm really disappointed they airbrushed out ALL of her freckles!

It was in COMPANY magazine, a monthly magazine sort of similar to Cosmopolitan and Glamour but not really quite as good. I'm not sure if they do it in other countries too (I'm in the UK).

Kris, I bought a bunch of catalogues with Alyssa in last week, they should be arriving tomorrow or Wednesday! They include the Speedy and Formit catalogues.. I'll take them into work and scan them as soon as they arrive.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!! ​

I was in the newsagent checking out the new Madison, and it's strange because I had a good feeling about today. Usually I flip through the mags hoping but not expecting to see any Alyssa in there, but today I felt more like I knew there'd be something and was expecting to see it at some point through the mag. Well.. she's in there! A gorgeous editorial, 10 (ten!!!) pages, showcasing new fashion in different styles - shapes, colours, world styles, etc.

Plus my catalogues arrived today too - Formfit 2003 with Alyssa, and Speedy 2005 with her too. They're both brilliant, not the type of catalogue that has a famous model on the first 2 pages and then someother b-grade house model doing the rest; she's on ALL the pages in FANTASTIC shots!!

I'll take them all into work tomorrow with me and do HQ scans; for now, I'll take some pics with my camera. Stay tuned...

Leaving Brisbane when I was 17 and moving to New York. I was worried about taking the risk, but I haven't looked back!

What celebrity gets under your skin?
Whilst I love a juicy tabloid on the odd flight, I read everything with a grain of salt. I'm just not that affected by people I don't really know.

What was your last bargain buy?
My dog, Harry. He came at the grand price of $100 from a local shelter. The best buy ever.


She's mentioned Harry her dog in an interview with German Elle a year or two ago. She walks him in Central Park, NY.
