Its obvious that many of these designers dont know how to dress anyone over size zero. Fortunately brands that cater specifically to curvy women know what looks good and what doesnt and deserve their dollars more than high fashion brands trying to tick a box.

My problem (and it has always been the case for me) is that when designers wants to make a point about them being diverse in terms of body size, it’s always literally putting a size 0 and a plus size in the same environment. There’s no in between. And that idea of putting a big girl in the same outfit as a skinny girl is pointless because people are going to compare and see that Precious, with all her confidence doesn’t look comfortable in those pieces.

Choose pieces to make them look their best on the runway and at the same time, produce bigger size that can accommodate everybody.

I’m a 36 but when I see miss Elson, probably a 38 in that suit, I’m afraid!
