Whoa! Such a gorgeous cover (the colors) and with the help of McDean in capturing her beauty. Ah-mazing! And she's still young, but has a beautiful mind and values. Admirable.

Amilna looks great in Gucci too.

Love hearing her values on the perception of beauty. I think she summed up many different cultures idea on beauty. McDean did a thrilling job on her portrait, hopefully this is the first of many.

I also wanted to pull a small excerpt from Deborah Needleman Editor's Letter about Amilna.

As for our exquisite cover model, Amilna Estevao, when we saw her at Alexander Wang’s fall show, we were gobsmacked. At only 16, she possesses a classic beauty and natural poise that will only deepen as she matures. This is her first major magazine cover, but my guess is that she will have a long career if she chooses to.
