I'm starting 'Concepts and Brands' there next september, so I would like to ask if anybody else here goes to/was going to AMFI, tell me, what is it like, how are the people, staff etc.?????
its one of the most supportive, artistic fashion schools in europe, you are avery lucky to be attending this school, just do your best and start planning your graduation show
amsterdam fashion week is a new event but is attracting lots of creative talents
Fashion week was very hectic but great! The whole thing was so cool, the people, the models, the clothing. I have only seen one show, the Frans Molenaar Prijs 2006, which was fun, even though I had to wait over an hour to get in. I'm definately going next year, if I can get tickets again.
Ow and I got this Swarovski keychain in a goodiebag!
i dont have much details, a friend graduated from there and he was very pleased with the school, his design developement was really amazing (on the creative levl)
Hi, I was accepted at AMFI as well to the fashion & design international course. I'm only concerend about the degree, which is 'Bachelor of Fashion Technology', which is different from the degree one usually gets when completing fashion design school - 'B.Design'. isn't it like a textile design degree? what is the difference between them? does it even matter?
hey everyone,
i'm going to study international fashion & branding at amsterdam fashion institute.
i think it's a good school but i'd like to know if anybody heard of it before.
maybe there are people in this forum that are going to this college or are about to study there!?
I'm going to Artez in September in Arnhem for Fashion Design.
I wasn't a big fan of the big implement of the business side that you get at AMFI (and of course I'd have to take courses in economics etc before I could start), but congratulations, it is one of the better ones in the Netherlands! and of course in lovely Amsterdam.
So three years later, do you guys have anything to say about the school? Has anyone gotten their degree there? How are the classes/ how is the teaching there?
I'm getting pretty fed up with my school, and don't feel ready to start in the real world yet, and I love amsterdam (need the fresh air/new start), so I'm kinda of thinking about AMFI... '
