Specifically, at the Peter Pilotto show in London last year, we made a note to find that red-headed girl. Russia’s answer to Anne of Green Gables, Anastasia’s natural auburn locks, matching brows and freckled face blew us away. Her features are very pretty but her expression is staunch; you wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of Anastasia, and that’s hot.

The place of redhead - doll model is still vacant after Lily Cole. I would be so happy if Anastasia gets everything she deserves! Cause every single pic of her shows how much charisma she has! Let's hope for more recognition for Anastasia in the nearest future.

She's the Model of the Month - May 2013 @ Fashion Model Directory
May's Model of the Month is Anastasia Ivanova and she hails from Russia. The red-headed model had her dreams set on being a synchronized swimmer but those goals were shattered when an arm injury prevented her from competing professionally and as luck would have it, she turned her attention to modeling instead and having made that decision, there was no stopping her.
The slim red-headed model with the green eyes and the alabaster skin has walked for some of fashion's best including Vivienne Westwood, Chanel, Jean Paul Gautier, Emporio Armani, Kenzo, Mugler and Christian Dior just to name a few.
She struts her stuff on the catwalk and does it effortlessly with style and chic. She has also done editorials for Harper's Bazaar, Brides Russia, Vanity Fair Italia and Vision.
Her burgeoning portfolio is still growing and will continue to do so in leaps and bounds in the years to come.
Anastasia Ivanova is going places and that is why she is our Model of the Month.
Did you always wanted to be a model, or did you stumble upon it, get discovered etc.? Who or what inspired you to become a model? How did you get started in the modeling business?
I participle on the fashion event in Moscow, and one week after I was in Milan sign with MP Management.
What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model? What do you like least? Have you encountered any surprises along the way? What has been your most awkward moment (of your modeling career)?
I love shows!!!! Modeling gives you the opportunity to travel and see different cities and gives you the possibility to meet a lot of new people, this is what I love about this job. On the other side this business can challenge you with a lot of temptations and this is where your personality should come out.
What's the funniest thing that happened to you on a photo shoot or fashion show?
I love dogs and I had to do a shooting for Vanity Fair and there were dogs on the set.. I had a lot of fun!!!!!
How would you describe yourself as model in three words?
On word, professiona!
Out of all the places your career has taken you, where was the most memorable?
The most memorable place for me was I worked at Edinburg for Chanel show. I lived another era. So beautiful location, castle. Repeat another world!!
Who is your favorite photographer? Why?
I worked with a lot of photographers and I can say I learn different things from all af them, sorry I can't be more specific.
What was the hardest photo shoot for you, and why?
For me all of the jobs I did till now were easy. Really!!
Is there a difference in posing when you are doing a cover and an editorial?
There is a slight difference to shoot Covers from Editorials. But it depends from the story they have in mind and that I have to interpretate.
Is there an artistic or general difference in doing editorials/covers in Europe opposed to USA?
Every country is different but shooting is a shooting, everyone is different.
Did anyone in the industry ask you to change your look, name, etc... If so, what did you do?
Untill now I was never asked to change my name or my look.
What tips and advice do you have for aspiring models just starting out, something you wish someone would have told you?
To all new aspiring models I would suggest to be themselves. The rest will come with time and experience.
Have you had any negative experiences with model agencies, talent scouts? What are top 3 warning signs to look out for?
I only had a good experience until now, but as in every job you always need to be careful.
Would you share some of your future goals, your life motto, any words of wisdom that get you by in life and professional career?

What should a relationship between an agent and model look like?
The relationship between an agent and the model should stay a work relationship.
Who is your favorite all-time model?

How do you feel fashion has empowered you?
To be in fashion business helped me to be more aware of myself, being more confident and more communicative.
Is the fashion world what you expected it to be?
For the moment yes, even if I believe there is so much more to be revealed.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I love to travel, spend time with my friends, and of course the important thing being with my family that gives me HUGH suport.
Who are your favorite fashion designers?
More than others I love Jean Paul Gaultier

What things in your wardrobe would you never throw away?
Nothing, I love all my clothing pieces!!
What era would you like to bring back?
I don't want to live in any other era, now it's my best time and I wanna enjoy it!!!!

I shop in different places, the important thing is that I find what I like!! Have a lot of fun going trough Top Shop Pieces!

Do you have any beauty / skin care tips or tricks to look fresh and rested for early morning photo shoots?
No, I don't have one.
Do you believe in homemade recipes? Do you have one to share with us?
I believe in homemade recipes but for the moment it will stay my secret. Maybe one day I will reveal it.
How much attention do you pay to meditation & exercise, or is it all natural? How do you stay in shape?
For the moment I don't have to take care what I eat to stay in shape but once in a while I go to the gym anyways.
What makes you feel sexy?
I am sexy and I know it!!!
What is your favorite part about your body?
My legs
