ug, i'm having a hard time finding out more about his work.

and this has been on my mind ever since i saw andi on fashiontv... i think it's so interesting how much her parents want to hang out with her. no it's not a bad thing but you'd think that once your kid becomes an adult, you kind of step away and do their own thing. yet andi's mom was all, "she's mine now" for the night.

does that seem weird? is it just me or do her parents -mostly her mom- seem more clingy than supportive almost?

My dad says that now that my older siblings are married and having their own kids (My first nephew is a week old today!) that he looks at them more as friends then his children. They come over just to hang out sometimes. I like the fact that just because they are married and on their own, they don't forget the people that got them there.
I would say that my mom is one of my best friends. We do almost everything together, when I'm not off with my own friends. I don't think it's weird at all.

On another note, I can't believe Andi is only 19 she looks so much more mature than that! It always amazes me to find out these models' ages!

I would say that my mom is one of my best friends. We do almost everything together, when I'm not off with my own friends. I don't think it's weird at all.

I agree My mom is my best friend too, and I'm 28. When I was growing up she was never one of those parents that tried to be the kid's friend; but now that I'm a grown woman myself, our relationship has evolved into true friendship and all that entails. It does get a *little* tricky now and then, but it's not weird or clingy at all. And I don't think there's anything wrong with a mother saying her 19 year old daughter is hers for the night, especially when the 19 (still so young!) is often travelling and away. I think it's sweet.

Andi's the model I'm looking forward to most in the VS show (and Stam! . It's strange because when I originally watched the 2005 show, I thought Andi, though gorgeous, was kind of meh. But I rewatched it a couple times, and saw more photos here, and I was blown away. And now she's one of my favorite models. I had the same reaction to Morgane.

I like it when a model grows on me over time - they generally become a lasting, all time favorite. Models who wow me from the get-go fizzle much more quickly.

Awe, everyone is having such nice posts for her, it's so nice. =]
I know what you mean though, when I first watched it, Ithought she was gorgeous, but could need some improvement; no one is flawless, right?
But after I watched the show again, I couldn't help but love her; and now I like to think of myself as one of her biggest fans! =D

Last year, when Andi Muise appeared in the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show it was a really big deal.

Canadian media clamoured to get her story, and Arena Magazine made her the featured model in their Ultimate Guide to 2006. In reference to her appearance in the Victoria's Secret show, the Brit mag recorded "... far from being nervous, she stood around blithely looking stunning, pretending not to notice while blokes lost it every time they came within nine feet of her."

So imagine how proud Michèle Miller is to learn that not only is Muise a repeat booking for this year's show, but Jessica Stam is joining her.

Both models were discovered by Miller; Muise while walking through a mall in Barrie, Stam in a donut shop.

Another Canadian in this year's event is 18-year-old superstar Heather Marks (Mode, Giovanni) making her first appearance for the lingerie retailer.

Only 27 models are cast for this, the most high-profile fashion show in the world, which happens tonight in Hollywood.
