Terry Richardson, Matthew Avedon - NEW GQ STYLE MAGAZINE
Rare sold out Spring/Summer 2006 issue 2 of the bi-annual fashion magazine by British GQ. This GQ Style magazine was sold in selected shops for a short time, and is printed on quality glossy paper; heavier than GQ - the magazine weighs 1.2kg - lots to read (and look at)! Contents include:
Terry Richardson - photographs the cover image. This is a double fold-out cover. Models on the cover are: Adam Kaczor, Brandon Clement, Francisco, Evandro, Bev and Brandon Green. Inside, Terry photographs a very Napleaon Dynamite style fashion shoot (cheerleaders, and nerdy male models with big boots!) titled "Camp Us". 14 pages modelled by Adam Kaczor, Brandon Clement and the other cover models, plus Drew Keilt (who modesl for Calvin Klein fragrance with Gemma Ward, and Kenneth Cole and Valentino Red.
Matthew Avedon - yes, the grandson of that Avedon; Richard. Matthew is photographed by David Slijper in a double fold-out series of images of Matthew in a style feature - how to wear beards, moustaches and hair, with the model being groomed off layers of hair for each page. Full page portrait of Matthew on each page. Stunning pix!
Later, Matthew appears shirtless and in shorts in a 'Maintenance' fashion and grooming editorial with Frank Brown and Ed Patriowicz, 11 pages. Lastly, Matthew (I crown him 'Man of the Mag'!) wears must-have white Dior Homme sunglasses and Speedo.
Peter Lindbergh - shoots 'Super Cannes' fashion shoot, 14 pages with long-haired models David Lindwall, Justin B and Martin Prokes.
Jamie Bell - full page feature; half page colour photo plus half page interview.
Mike Skinner / The Streets - photographed by Horst Diekgerdes (3 full page shots of Mike modelling Paul Smith, Marc Jacobs and Gucci, plus smaller shots) and interviewed over 6 pages.
