I know what androgyny is, however, what you just said about Kim Gordon being a tough chick could also be applied to Patti Smith... she is more masculine than feminine too.

i think what you say is true about patti smith sometimes too...but the pictures that have been posted sway slightly more fem than she sometimes does...plus ...the long hair makes her more fem...

it's just in my mind i've never seen kim do anything but butch...

it would actually be great to see some pics ...she keeps a pretty low profile...i hardly ever see her picture...maybe that's part of it...i think of her only one way because i haven't seen her a lot...

i'm not saying she's never done anything but butch...i just haven't thought of her any other way before...
