I so wanted him to win today. I felt really sorry for him when he lost.

I hope after disappointment he does realize just how amazingly he played today. They were equal throughout the match, it just went to Roger's favor in the end really. But if he keeps up the form and continues with his good game, he will get it and many more.

I was rooting so much for him to win and was and still am really disappointed. He played great and was on par with Roger and what I really liked is that he wasn't intimated by Federer and by the previous ratio of 18-2 in favour of Federer. I was pissed at Fed for having no compassion to Andy when he said 'I know how you feel, Andy, I felt the same when I lost last year.' How incredibly insensitive, having in mind that he already had five trophies prior to that loss to Nadal, and that Andy has only one Slam and has been beaten constantly by Fed.

^^I think Fed was just trying to be diplomatic, i mean what would you say in his position? He also praised Roddick in his post match interview i saw on Sky News, so i don't think he was being rude intentionally. Now if we talked about Serena Williams......

Having to talk about your opponent just after he's lost and is still on the court is pretty awkward. I thought the behavior of both was very appropriate. Andy Roddick is lovely. I wish we saw more pics of him in regular clothes.

Andy Roddick is a good man, he gave a great post match interview and you could see his emotion. I wish he would have won. I didn't think Fed was bad in victory, it's a tough spot for him to be in...

^ I agree, though I like Federer, I do wish Andy would have won today but in any case, Federer is a true sportsman and a diplomat... I don't think he would ever be intentionally rude or insensitive.

I really wanted Andy to win!!!! :( He had come so far in Wimbeldon!!!!!! I'm still really proud of him though!
