I bought Gala magazine. Pics are great and cover too. Both girl talk about modeling and how they start working in the buisness. They both say nice and scarry things about it.

Anja said that if model wants to be in "fashion heaven", she needs to go to "fashion hell" first. It's hard, becouse girls are so young and away from theirs families and friends, but if they will work hard, some of them can be successful and have a great career. She said that her beginings in Paris were hard. She was living in small flat - kitchen, bathroom and badroom were one small space. She said that when she was sad, she read a lot of books, so she could run out from problems. During the week she was in school and she was working during weekends. She is very ambitious and she always wanted to do the best stuff. So when she moved to NY and there was still no big work for her, she went to the agency and said that if they wont find anything big for her she will change the agency and that's how she started working with big names. She gave them a list of photographers with who she wants to work and there are still two names on it - one of them is Bruce Weber - she will work with him soon. Again she said she could always count on her parents, who gave her the best support. She speaks about relaunching 25 magazine in NY.

Sorry I don't have time to scan it.

hardly knew this tough side of anja, which reminds me of the story of carmen kass threatening her agent with a knife :D anyway, it is good that we are reminded of the years of obscurity anja lived in from 1999 to 2005 and 2006 so that we can keep in mind just how hard working anja is and how much perseverance and fighting spirit she has in this little body

as a subscriber, i am really looking forward to the fall/winter issue of 25

fashionologie

Photo may have been verboten at Tom Ford's womenswear preview yesterday — with the exception of those taken by Terry Richardson — but a few have popped up, all headshots (...)
