Saw her today in New York. Very uninspiring. I was never a huge fan or anything, but now, even less so. She's very tall and thin (not in a bad way). But her hair is like bleached blonde, very unattractive. And I didn't realize she was this big punk girl? Shame.

I hope I'm not offending anybody here but it's just a style/culture that I really do not get/appreciate/like/look up to? I don't know, nothing about it is appealing to me. I'm sorry, it sounds really ignorant, but I'm sure [to those of you into that] there are other 'styles' you don't like? And Anja just looked so sloppy? That hair was so wrong.

i sincerely hope she will stop featuring that bleached blonde we most recently saw on that costume institute gala. it is not exactly punkiness, but it is some bad match for her. if that happened to be what you saw, just then i agree, the hair is just wrong

but you are sooooooo lucky to have seen anja in person

I would say, the hair is about the same length as it was during the FW season. But VERY blonde. Like gross kind of blonde. I don't know what she was thinking.

Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe I'm less disappointed that she's a punk and more about how messy she looked. Seriously when I first noticed her walking towards me, I was thinking to myself, like "well this girl hasn't taken a shower in a couple days" and then whoa, It's Anja. You know, I turned around, lol.

I said this on Cinthia's thread too, but like 3 minutes after passing by Anja, I saw Cinthia Dicker. She's definitely not as tall or thin as Anja, and she had a skateboard(!!!), but she still looked more presentable.

j/k, but i completely get the gist of what you're saying. that whole punk thing IMO is very..trendy and a little too "all over the place" for my liking. (not trying to offend anyone) I don't think that Anja is like that and i hope she will not be a bleach blonde for long

No. I was too shocked/disgusted by the hair. But she had like heavy duty boots on.

It's just so unexpected, I remember reading an interview with her where she was described as 'a very tall, stunning girl wearing a pink dress & sandals, looking so beautiful and fresh' But there has been some change in her style lately. I mean high waisted black pants, even a dandy look sometimes...
