It takes many weeks. And I needed to go to fashion shows. I couldn’t handle all that stuff. When I went back I was shocked. The floor was exactly the same as I imagened. Sasha made all the hard work to get a premission. He even found shade that I wanted.I asked “How did you done that?”, he answered “I have made that in my own serbian way”.When I started asking more questions he said with serious face that he spend night with the lady who managed our apartment and at once he get a premission (laugh).
Aren’t you jealous when he is joking like that?
Of course I am but he is more jealous of me than I am of him.

Do you notice any of this sympthoms at yourself?

Was it like a thunderbolt struck?
Yes, you can said thet but firstly I was fighting whit this felling.But last year was strangest in my live.Everything changes in 180 degree.After Christmas I decided to broke up with my boyfriend.We were with Lukasz more than 6 years in relationship but I felt for the couple months that we were from two different worlds.I decided that it will be the best for both of us that we fall apart .
Were you afraid that you won’t find another relationship?
I was rather planning to start working all the time to forget about fellings.
And then HE showed up.
Yes.Just like in the film (laugh).I was walking down the street in hurry for some photoshoot and suddenly he stoped me.”Anja it’s me Sasha, remember, we were working together".
Shasha is also a model?
Yes.Last year we were shooting commercial together in New Orleans.I remember that he fascineted me a lot but I was with Lukasz and he had a girlfriend.We didn’t even exchanged our phone numbers.Now when we meet in NY Shasha invites me for the morning coffe.I never even thought it will be a real date.
Did you felt that he is mister right when you sat next to him?
When I sat and we started to talk I was surprised .We were talking about
our families, passions and how we treat our work. I was thinking: why am I talking about myself so much? What is happening with me?! I am rather reserved person. It is not easy for me to talk about personal stuff but whit Sasha it was different.
Where you nervous at this date?
You will be laughing but my jaw was shaking all the time. I was wearing polo neck sweater and I was hiding my mouth all the time in case he would find out about this. I was lucky because I felt that he is nervous too but he tried to hide this by his loud laugh and jokes.
How fast did you arrange second date?
After first date I needed to go away for shoot but Sasha said that he will be waiting for me. After my return we went to the Central Park for walking. We both love this place. We were talking for many hours .We have completely lost the count of time. It was the time that I found out that Sasha never really wanted to be a model. He was talking about his big passion to the baskeball.He is Serb but his family lives in Vienna. He spend his childhood in Vienna.Fro his early years he was training basketball and even was part in Italy representation. He moved to Milan was sure that he will be basketball player.But everything went different.During one match he was injured.He went to the hospital.No one know if he he will be back on the field again.And the Giorgio Armani was interested in him.We all know that he loves basketball players.He invited Sasha to one of his campaign. Sasha have done a great work and that’s how everything started.
Did he started to like being a model?
I think he likes what he do but being a model is not his passion.He rather take it as well paid job and that’s it.He is looking for his place all the time.Sasha impressed me with his passions, he is always on the road, he can’t sit in the one place.Since we are couple we went to Milan, Belgrade, Mexico, Paris and Czestochowa.We both love spent time in active way and this is wondeful.
Did you bring him home to the Czestochowa?
Yes.Firstly I was afraid of this metting.I have talked about Sasha to my parents by phone and wasn’t in hurry to go to Poland together. Some time ago I started to talk about our families with Sasha.We both left our homes early, we started worked and grown up abroad.Neither of us stopted missing our childhoods.When I’ve heard Sasha’s story about his home I thought that it would be great if he could met my relatives.I have offered him a trip to Czestochowa.He was delighted. During our stay in Poland we also were in Cracov and Wieliczka (famous polish salt-mine) but the best time we had at my home. My parents loved Sasha at first place.He is very cherfull and he has great sense of humor that my dad really likes. They both were laughing all the time. I felt like my parents known Sasha for years.
Did you also met his family?
Yes. During summer holidays Sasha taked me to Vienna. I have met his parents and friends. He showed me his favourite places. I saw where he started palying baskatball, I was at his school.That was such a wonderful time. His parents were really nice for me, I shouldn’t have been afraid going there. In the end of my visit I have made dinner for everyone.I’ve prepared chicken with grit. Everyone enjoyed meal. I have proved that I am great material for wife (laugh).

Every year around the Christmas Gap invites for photoshoot famous couples, siblings parents with childrens. It ends whit great and warm photos.This year Gap called us. I was delighted. Recently something funny happened to me.I was in hurry and I turn to one of Manhattan’s streets. Suddenly I saw our shoot from this campaign.It was huge.Amazing impression.I felt dizzy and I felt warm around my heart.I thought how great it is that we haved met . For the first time from such a long period I felt that I am full of happiness.
