exactly. those americans (north americans as much as the south americans) are really overdoing it, coming cross more as annoying, rude and ******** (and in saying this, i realize i may come cross as a quasi-racist or at least a "hemispherist" )

The girls are told to amp it up for VS and I think that for the most part the hammy antics fit the nature of the show. It isn't couture, it's a bunch of cheap neon panties with strategic pieces of flair stapled on. Give the girls a break, there was a giant inflatable puppy and a bunch of ensembles that look like they were designed by a blind hippie: subtlety does not exist on Planet VS. Especially not during this show - it was seriously almost psychedelic this year.

That said, Anja was perfect during her segments and looked phenomenal. She was more subdued than say Abbey Lee but there is plenty of room for both the subdued approach and the heavy handed one.
