Anja Rubik

^Rizer. She was the Babushka at the Viktor & Rolf babushka haute couture show.

I agree that the Baboushka look was kind of strange for D&G but I like the outfit Anja is wearing, now, lets wait for the close-up :p
well, it's not that bad at all...^_^
but you have to admit that she looks like 80-year-old granny in that outfit, no? :flower:

This is a translation of what Anja says for Vogue Paris about her short hair:

2nd pic: ‘I have always dreamed of having short hair. And if I have decided to take the plunge, it was a bit for the challenge. I just had the idea of Linda Evangelista in my head. And outright I had the impression of being reborn. Since then, I have a feeling of being stronger, of having more self-confidence, of being unique’ Anja Rubik

4th pic: 'For me short hair it’s easy to live, easy to maintain, easy to style and especially they are less fragile when it comes to the shock treatments they undergo during shootings or runway shows. And contrary to what I thought, I can see in men’s eyes that they find short hair rather sexy’ Anja Rubik

Well, I actually don't think that she looks like an old granny at D&G because she's young and because her face is edgy enough to cope with the look. But any older woman or with less sophisticated features will indeed look like an old granny. So, IMO, it's definaltely NOT a collection for mature women.

after seeing this in a Vogue Italia thread, I can see where Anja got her inspiration from.
