Anja Rubik

After seeing those Dior pics.. I really like her long hair back.

The Money Girls

According to MDC: “a ‘Money Girl’ by our definition was a former or current editorial girl who converted into a multi-million dollar proposition.”
Here is how everything breaks down:
The power clients: Victoria’s Secret ( “Angel” contracts), Ralph Lauren, Estee Lauder, Calvin Klein, Lancome, L’Oreal, Maybelline, Revlon and Cover Girl as well as the many fragrance contracts in the business. Also, jewelry companies, endorsement deals for clothing lines and accessories.
By agency: IMG-10 (Kate Moss, Heidi Klum, Gisele, Hilary Rhoda, Daria Werbowy, Jessica Stam, Liya Kebede, Gemma, Shalom, Craolyn Murphy); Women-6 (Julia Stegner, Carmen Kass, Izabel, Selita Ebanks, Isabeli Fontana, Valentina); DNA-4 (Natalia Vodianova, Doutzen, Karolina Kurkova, Adriana Lima); Next-3 (Anja Rubik, Filippa, Malgosia); Elite-2 (Coco Rocha, Alessandra Ambrosio).
The surprises: Where is Raquel, Sasha, Caroline and Agyness? They all are in heavy rotation in every major fashion glossy and they each score multiple campaigns every season. In fact, Sasha has been Madame Prada’s homegirl for almost three years now and Unkle Karl has kept Raquel employed at Fendi for quite a while as well.
It’s worth noting that everybody in the top five has had a contract with Victoria’s Secret at one point in their career, except for Kate Moss — who actually tops this list.
In short: There are quite a few hypebeasts out there. It doesn’t matter how many times a model may appear on the cover of French and Italia Vogue because if her look can’t sell perfume, makeup or jewelry then you she isn’t going to be making too much money in this very competitive business. Also, it pays a lot to wear the wings. If you could befriend Ralph Lauren along the way, that would be great too.
The end.

at least she got a decent outfit compared to the others but the make-up and hair is
she looks like the girl robots in Austin Powers, what's that called again? a Fembox?

anyway, it's good to see her at Dior! ^_^

A Femmebot and yes it definitely looks more Austin Powers than any of the references galliano mentioned

But I agree I'm always happy to see anja at the big shows, no matter how atrocious the clothes are...:ninja:

Even though the Dior look is a bit over the top, i think she rocks it, I love the crazy wig and 60s style on her, I kinda miss her long hair too.

^ it's not that bad at all ^_^, but hair...
^^ i think we will have a chance to chat with her...so, why not to ask her?

MODELS.com's Money Girls - 23.

Its not only the 8 campaigns this season, it's the consistency of a career that has always attracted the big money clientele. From the loyalty she inspired in Chloe, former OTM notable Anja is the classic case of a girl who beams both cool and a commercial cachet! [models.com] :magic:
