she looks so chic. and yes, they should focus on her more - i remember another shot from the gap campaign in which they placed her at the right end of the lineup

at any rate, the group shot is very disorienting, with each girl staring at a different direction

^ I'm pretty sure that the shots were done separately on green-screen and then Photoshopped together. So that's why they are all looking in different directions.

You'd be surprised if you knew how much money/time/conception The Gap puts into their marketing, to be honest... I mean, just take a gander at that shot. Those are all top girls. Coco, Julia, Chanel, Vlada, Du. But, anyhoot! I think Anja looks great.

I think it's absolutely atrocious for the post-production crew to miss the fact that parts of her arm/hand should've gone behind Du... So much marketing funds spent and still such a major artistic error -- Gap is lucky that the girls at least look amazing individually.

^ I think the error wasn't corrected because if you were to go to The Gap and check their in-store marketing, this shot is not used as pictured. It is cropped. One shows only Coco, Du, and Julia, another shows Vlada and Anja, and then Chanel is pictured alone. This shot that combines all three is only online and it's not even on their official site. It's on the tri-company site, only.

Anja's shoulder also isn't cut off in the actual marketing. That actually is what annoys me.

^^exactly. the arm thing is just an embarassing blunder. gap spent a lot of money and time in marketing, but i guess their conceptual creativity was already exhausted in selecting and putting together the six girls

I actually don't recall this one anywhere at the local Gap stores, either (Thank goodness). At least the company had some sense to not create blatant public promotional materials for it -- if these did get released I would not be surprised if someone would eventually be fired over that image's creation. Why attempt to fix (Or merge together, in this case) something that isn't broken? Even if it's just for web graphics...

ugh, i've spotted something even worse than Anja's hand... gap between Julia's arm and body... third hand? it all looks very amateur... but yeah they look beautiful individually.
