I love this collection , it's nice to see her progress and deal with something diffrent.

It's as if she ripped off my personal wardrobe.
I have a grey bodysuit of the same shape (tho not made of velvet)
I have black shorts with cut, jagged edges
I have khaki high waisted long shorts
etc

I like it! haha

It's great! Space, you are right about the progression :woot: And it's great seeing her moving away from that aesthetic....admittedly,it was beginning to get tiring.

Now,I wonder how Faust,Metal and Softie will critique this, when they see it? :D

Part of me is inclined to agree that it is marginally better than last season, but that might just be because there's less of it. I'm afraid I don't see much in the way of development at all; imo it is simply a pared-down version of her usual cynical shtick. And I will never, ever understand her trousers...

It's EXCELLENT! It's interesting, the color palette (or lack of) is refreshingly different form the rest. I love all the buttons, and the "unfinished" jacket cuts are great!

It's about time to move away from that horror show of last season. Maybe she reads tFS?! :woot::unsure:

:doh: Gotta love tFS, two conflicting opinions posted in the same second :flower:

droogist, the trouser comment

To be perfectly honest, I'm not THAT familiar with her work. Though I find a lot of this collection really early 90's. The linen, the shapes...it just puts me off in general. The only things I really like are the skirts/dresses.

^ Haha I think she must, faust! How mean were we last season?! This is so much better. Very cool and casual, easy and fun, but still with her "spirit" I would say.

 Wow,you guys were quick....:p

Look at you, all gloating

I understand. It's hard to see someone you believe in produce utter crap, and thefore even more uplifting to see them make a good collection. :flower:

What's next, a good Bernhard Willhelm collection?! :woot:

^I hope so. Maybe he'll see that Jeremy Scott collection and be insulted by how grotesque his look has become ;)

i like certain pieces... for instance those white shorts third row down. i wished the rest of her collection was as interesting ....

 Who knows he reads tFS as well!

I am partial on this collection actually. I like it better than last season's, but I feel that it is too melodramatic while it is trying to be romantic. I like the details, though...

I agree with Meg....there's a 90's vibe going on here. A little early Helmut Lang-like. But I still quite like it.

i like most of it. a lot of it is very 80s/90s to me (leotards, rocker chick dresses, [lacy] off the shoulder tops) which i could do without. but i think the jackets/coats and coat dresses save the collection. the shorts are fun too but not as special.

I don't like this. Someone mentioned early 90's, I agreed once I saw it. The swirls are killing me,too. I've never really understood Anne, the cut is horrendous, the styles a bit 'sloutchy'. On the brighter side, a huge improvement from last season.
