Jun: I'm sorry, they're gone already. The caramel one that they show was showing up on sale too but it got changed. A girlfriend of mine called them and wanted to order the caramel but complained that they had changed the price online. The cs rep told her she was mistaken, that the caramel were not on sale but she and I both saw it. Now I could kick myself in the butt for not just buying one of each! BUT! There was one I saw in tobacco on fengjunk.com for $337.50 and you might be able to use a code for an additional 15 to 20% off! I love the tobacco but if I order one more bag, my hubby is going to unplug my internet and I'll be one seriously depressed and lonely woman! LOL!

Just an FYI - AC is raising all their retail prices. I think by anywhere from $40-65 per bag.

I don't really get why there's going to be a price increase. I mean, the bags are different than most of what you see out there, but the quality is definitely a bit subpar ... Maybe if the quality was PERFECT then I could understand getting charged more for the bags.

I dunno.. I guess I'm glad I got mine while it was still an ok price.

luna~ i think they're doing it because it's getting more recognition as a brand. a brand gets some following and of course prices go up....

It's weird though bc I don't think the company is raising prices. They're just mandating that the stores raise the retail prices or they can't carry the line. It doesn't really make much sense to me.

I realize why certain brands raise prices... I'm just saying IMO, I don't think the quality of the bags warrant to be $600+ bags... The lady duffle is already 540... the pockets aren't even LINED... the main compartment is lined, but it's a little unfinished looking when you can see the underside of the magnetic snaps (the parts that anchor the snap to the bag)...

I dunno... great, they're getting more recognition... raise your prices... but make sure the quality is excellent.

Agreed! I have the drawstring bag, and it has some loose threads, and threads that stick out, and the edges of the leather aren't finished. They raised the drawstring about 40$ I think.

So, I have a question... do AC bags not come with dustbags? I got a great deal on it but they are still a pretty hefty price tag not to come with a dustbag. Thanks!

Thanks, ladies! Got her tucked into a lovely pillowcase that was embroidered by my grandmother years ago! I got a city tote too in caramel but I don't like it nearly as much so back it goes. I love the color brass too, I worried about it being to "brassy" but it's very nice. It's a beigey kind of color with a sheen to it. Very pretty! That duffle is tempting on anthro too, Jun! A white one would be great for the summer but probably hard to keep clean.

ok this is a stupid question - but how does one get 20% off at lunaboston? tried looking in the online coupon thread but was unsuccessful.

also, i ahve a question - i was looking at the beckett - and the chain is different on the cognac color vs. black/dark brown. i think cognac is the first one of the prototypes - what do u guys think? look-wise comfort-wise, which one is better?

i like it a lot! i think i prefer the cognac, because the shape is so organic.

thanks for the pics of your beatiful bag Tlloveshim! what are you planning on wearing it with? i've never been able to incorporate metalics into my wardrobe....im curious

Jun, I think it's pretty neutral so I should be able to wear it with a lot. The pic makes it look more metallic than it really is. It has a sheen to it which is nice but isn't too metallic-y! I think it'd be nice with winter white, black, any jewel tone like emerald green or cranberry, even pink or rose, plum, just about any brown color... Wow! I think I'll be able to wear it with just about everything in my wardrobe! I believe I'd stay away from bright, primary colors with it but I don't wear a lot of those colors anyway. And because it's neither gold nor silver, I won't have to worry about what jewelry I'm wearing. Should be a fun bag to play with!
