Yes, the collections looked different in the past. They were more fun, even beyond the 90's. I do not like everything she does now.

Anna is a New York legend, and I love her. There are some pretty pieces here, and I'd love to see the new Vogue editor give her more hype, instead of these tired European houses.

Her store in SoHo may have closed down, which is very sad. All her stores in Japan, where she used to have a huge following, have also closed. I think that it may be the perfumes and cosmetics that are sustaining her business.

On one hand, I do like that she stayed true to her vision and established a respectable longevity. But at the same time, her presence in 2025 seems somewhat anomalous. I think the whole brand really runs on nostalgia more than anything else.
