do people seriously wear this kind of underwear?
i mean without feeling silly?

WhiteLinen said:I have to agree with Lena. I have always wondered why women buy Victoria's Secret, do they actually wear it? I don't think it looks good, just rather cheap, not cute or attractive. This collaboration with Anna Sui isn't any better, I would never have guessed they were in collaboration with a high fashion designer. You can find underwear like that from H&M for a cheaper price.
WhiteLinen said:I think it is the way most of their pieces seem to clash. There are too many things, patterns and frills. The patterns are loud and too colourful. The material does not look comfortable and luxurious. . .These are all over-sexed. Don't get me wrong, I like underwear, but only when it is luxurious and not so in-your-face sexy. As for the more basic items, I do not seem to get the feeling of luxury and attractiveness from them either. . . but I have to admit I am not as familiar with the basic ones than these over-sexed ones. But from what I have seen, it doesn't look so good. Victoria's Secret does not look sensual, only strip club-like. Victoria's Secret always brings to my mind an image of a woman who tries to please men by getting a boob-job. . .
Skirt said:Heh. The more basic ones like the IPEX don't give me that impression, they're just there. The only people that ever see my lingerie are myself and any random gay men I'm hanging out with that walk in on me changing, so yeah while sometimes I want it to be fancy and fabulous like LaPerla or something, I also know that sometimes it's better to just go with a Calvin Klein tshirt bra or a VS Ipex.
