I dunno guys, being an editor is hard work. I know a few and they are *stressed*. Just like styling seems to be such la dee da job, it's all crazy. I'm sure after a while the parties get tired, you get overworked, and your sooouuul get sucked away!

her lore is editor-in-chief. I'm sure she can choose covers and photoshoots, too. That's great job!

hey softgrey was there anything in wwd about what the rest of the editors get approx? cause if some of the 80,000 quotes for less famous editors such as UK vogue editor alexandra shulman, or even lesser know fash editors.... were true how do they afford to have a london or NY flat, be able to afford the clthes etc that go with the job and also say a hermes spy (those things are, what, $35,000 AU?)

Like many people have mentioned before, she is probably, some how, living near free. Designer clothes left and right, I'm sure more than a few resteraunts BEG her to dine with them, and companies desperate for product placement. On top of it all, she is most likely raking in a million a year.

I would love to have a job like THAT...
