Wanted to put this up and coming independent brand, ANNABOLINA, based in NYC on TFS's radar. Emerged in 2020, she's been showing in New York for a couple seasons now but her latest one was probably my favorite of NYFW. While there's room for improvement (I will note the collections are solely financed and put together by the designer herself), there is a charm to her proposition--she's built an identifiable aesthetic in a short amount of time. The DIY nature and the sex appeal of the show is something that I feel has been missing in NYFW for a few years now. This collection was featured on Vogue, PAPER, and Interview.
